Android versions of both SketchBook Mobile and Express were to be later released on November 30, 2010. Built with the same paint engine as Pro, Mobile (and its free version, Mobile Express) offers many of the same design features seen in the desktop application. When Autodesk acquired Alias in October 2005, they discontinued Sketchbook Pro development for a time. Other features include rulers, brush customization, and canvas rotation.
The program can also create flipbooks or animations, and it supports layers with the ability to import from and export to Adobe Photoshop (.psd) format. A screenshot tool is also included for annotations, allowing one to show content during meetings, and to add notes for review.
It uses pressure-sensitive features of digital drawing pads, tablet computers, and smartphones to create effects similar to traditional materials.

I need it to be a laptop to be portable occassionally (I’ll have a separate large monitor). I was advised that I should be looking at a minimum of 16GB ram but I wondered if anyone could advise on exactly what I need? I’m currently thinking between a Macbook pro and Macbook air. I need to buy a new (or second hand) Macbook to replace my ageing MacBook Air and I want to buy something to use professionally with SketchUp for landscape designs for a number of years to come.

Granted, if the iPad Sketchbook App was ever updated to allow me to load the brushes I have on the desktop app, it wouldn't even be an issue. I use Sidecar to use my iPad as a 2nd screen and most apps work fine, though the line quality is a bit squirrelly on Sketchbook.
